Last night I was reading stories to the girls from the Book of Mormon... trying to increase their knowledge and spiritually.. and actually my own! Kathy bought a cute children's book telling the stories of the Book of Mormon with pictures included.
The girls picked the story last night and it was the story of the birth of Christ. I started to tell the story by asking the girls who they thought the baby was in Mary's arms.
"Who do you think that baby is?"
Pyper then said... "I don't know".
"Just guess.."
"I don't know mommy..'
"who do you think it might be?"
"ummmm.. maybe Presley?"
I laughed out loud! it was so cute! Pyper might not know who baby Jesus was in a picture but she is in touch with her family!! We'll have to work on the Jesus knowledge too!
